Albert Muntané

Albert earned his graduate Degree of Dental Surgery at the University of Barcelona, the first Spanish university according to the latest QS World University Ranking and the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU 2016-2017). He is an extremely self-motivated individual and is always in search of excellence.

Albert holds a Master’s in Dental Implantology (MSc) from the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) and has completed two Postgraduate Certificates in Restorative Dentistry under the training of Prof. Paul Tipton, one of the best professionals in the country and President of the British Academy of Restorative Dentistry (BARD).

Whilst further developing his clinical and academical skills, Albert has had the opportunity to serve in different specialties, including but not limited to, Dental Implants and Restorative Dentistry in the North West of England. Today he combines his work at Superior Smiles with his work as a Senior Clinical Teacher at the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan).

Albert has a keen interest in the latest advancements in dentistry and is currently developing different areas of research in Dental Implantology at UCLan University alongside Dr Fadi Barrak, course leader of the MSc in Dental Implantology and one of the most renown dental surgeons and implantologists throughout the country.

Prior to finding his passion for dentistry, Albert was a semi professional football player. He played for a total of 5 years before he began his dental career. Albert’s other interests include reading, running and kite surfing. He lives in the Northwest with his partner Yanira and goes back to Barcelona to visit his family as much as possible.
